Yes. Zeitgeist is developed and operated by Epidot IT e.U. from St. Pölten. Development and servers are based in Austria, support is in German, and the features are built around Austrian labour law and the everyday needs of Austrian SMEs.
The app is tailored to smaller and medium-sized Austrian businesses. That means: Austrian regulations preconfigured, quick self-service setup, no training required for employees, monthly exports for your payroll accountant and no unnecessarily complex extra features.
For special features and larger businesses, we offer tailored enterprise solutions instead.
Your data is processed on servers in Austria – GDPR-compliant and without sharing it with third parties for advertising. We process personal employee data solely on your company's behalf as a data processor. We are happy to sign a data processing agreement (DPA) on request; details are in our privacy policy. We rely on Netcup's servers hosted in Vienna.
Zeitgeist is built around Austria's recording obligations: working hours and breaks are recorded continuously, traceably and centrally, and Austrian public holidays are included. That helps you meet your recording duties. Legal responsibility remains with the employer, and Zeitgeist is not a substitute for legal advice.
